Lynwood Park Community Day

Lynwood Park Community Day is a vibrant annual celebration of history, culture, and community spirit in Brookhaven’s historic Lynwood Park neighborhood. Taking place at the Lynwood Park Recreation Center, this free family-friendly event invites everyone to come together for a day filled with fun, entertainment, and togetherness.

Get ready for a high-energy parade led by Grand Marshals Tom Jones & Bill Crane of WSB-TV, live performances, delicious eats, and hands-on activities that showcase the heart and soul of Lynwood. Whether you’re catching up with old friends or meeting new ones, this is a day to soak up the spirit of the neighborhood.

Parking Notice: Limited parking is available near the recreation center and pool. Park & Walk options with limited shuttle service are available at Little Zion Baptist Church, Legacy Alive MFB Church, Lynwood Park UCOGIC, and the Lynwood Park Foundation Nursery.

Road closure from Windsor Pkwy down Osborne Road to the Recreation Center from 11:30am - 1:00pm for parade (alternative routes available).
